I'd like to take a moment to tell you about someone very special to me; The Front Man of Queen.
He was absolutely phenomenal. There are no words great enough to describe how perfect his voice was. It could cut through a song like a knife, and yet soar through the airwaves soft as a butterfly. I have no idea how a talented person like him was ripped from the world so quickly.
Freddie, in my eyes, is without a doubt the greatest singer who ever lived. It's funny how songs like "We Will Rock You" "We Are the Champions" and "Somebody to Love" were songs I heard growing up and I knew so little of the four amazing musicians behind them. People who can cover Queen songs well are one in a million, but Freddie himself is one in this world. There has never been anyone quite like him and I'm sure there never will be.
Saying that he was amazing is a complete understatement. He was more than a legend. He was, is and will forever be an inspiration to me and every other person out there who still has faith.
If I was given the choice of who I'd want to sing like I'd choose him, hands down, and in a heartbeat.
Thank you Freddie Mercury. I hope you're happy where ever the hell you are.
